During my second to last week, I decided to start off with trying to redo a previous makeup. Since I disliked my previous burn makeup the most out of all the makeups I've done, I wanted to try another one. This time I learned that I could use cotton balls with the latex to create the right texture. I felt that the effect of the burn definitely turned out better than the other one. On Tuesday I decided to attempt a melting makeup because I'd seen several around the internet and thought it looked like a cool technique. Originally I planned to use liquid latex over the painted lines of where the skin melted, but then decided I wanted to just paint the melting skin instead since I liked the way it looked. I really liked playing with the shading on this piece since there were so many cool areas to pay attention to. For Wednesday's makeup I wanted to do another beauty makeup. This time I decided to go more fantasy with it and use brighter colors to shade/contour my face, which really helped with the look I was going for. Sadly on Thursday I wasn't feeling good at all so I wasn't able to do a makeup that day, but will be doing one this weekend. Lastly, on Friday, I tried recreating a face chart I saw and loved on line. I loved getting to test out my symmetry skills with this look and really liked the way it turned out. Throughout this week, I continued testing out my airbrush. Since I wasn't able to get a model, I'll have to wait to test it on someone until Saturday when I could actually get someone to volunteer. I've also continued with watching Face Off throughout the week.
