For week four of endersession, I started out doing makeup on Tuesday since Monday was memorial day. I decided to try a special effects makeup that recreates the look of skin pulled off the cuticle. I enjoyed trying to crave out the lines where it was pulled back, it created a slight challenge to try to figure out the edges. On Wednesday I decided to replicate a zombie makeup I've seen in a tutorial and wanted to create for a while. I tried another technique for bruising that I've tried in the past and loved. I feel that the bruising was a lot more successful than when I tried earlier in the project. I had a hard time trying to carve out the teeth since I wanted to try to be accurate with them. For Thursday's makeup, I replicated another tutorial that I loved by Jordan Hanz. I loved trying her techniques of shading around the eyes and around the face. It was a lot different to try than previous makeups I've tried, but I really liked doing it. Lastly, on Friday, I created another special effects makeup where the back of my middle and ring finger were split open. I realized too late that I needed more skin wax to build up the edges so that definitely made it a challenge to work around. Throughout the entire week, I practiced using my airbrush since I haven't used it in over a year. I'm hoping to use it next week on someone to try out the techniques I practiced. I also continued watching Face Off throughout the week.
